Accessibility statement
Maple Bridge Language Academy is committed to serving people with disabilities in a way that respects dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Our commitment
We follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11), including the customer service standard. Assistive devices, support persons and service animals are welcome on our premises.
This website
The AODA refers to WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We aim higher and design this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA: keyboard access with visible focus, skip link, semantic headings and landmarks, text alternatives for images, colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text, form labels with clear error messages, no information conveyed by colour alone, and support for reduced-motion settings.
Known limitations
- Photos are stock images for illustration.
- Third-party pages we link to (for example IRCC or test owners) are outside our control.
- The weekly timetable is a wide table; on small screens it scrolls sideways — the same information is listed in the “All start dates” table.
Alternate formats and accommodations
Course materials, policies and this statement are available in accessible formats or with communication supports on request, at no extra cost — for example large print, accessible PDF or plain text. In class we can provide accommodations such as seating, captions for online sessions or extra time in practice tests.
Feedback
Tell us about any barrier you meet, by email to [email protected], by phone at +1 416-323-1770, in person, or by mail to 443 University Ave, 3rd floor, Toronto, ON M5G 2H6. We acknowledge feedback within 2 business days and tell you how we'll respond. Feedback can be anonymous.
Service disruptions
If an elevator or another accessibility feature is out of service, we post a notice at the entrance and on this website, with the expected duration and alternatives (such as moving a class online).
